Hello Everyone. This Discussion Board is for you to post your reflections on the Presidential Debate, which occurs on Tuesday at 7:00 pm. Listen to each candidate and post your thoughts on the impact of their respective positions on business organizations. Similar to the earlier posts, you need to post your initial reflections and then respond to posts from your classmates.

• Post a response to the discussion debate within two days of class (i.e., the class is day one – Monday class post by Wednesday)
• Read a selection of your colleagues’ postings
• Respond to four or more (minimum credit) of your colleague’s postings by day five (i.e., Respond to initial post by Friday – day five), in one or more of the following ways:
• • Address a colleague’s analysis and evaluation of the topics.
  • Expand or remark upon a colleague’s integration of relevant resources.
  • Answer question(s) posed by your colleague(s) for further discussion.
  • Extend or constructively challenge your colleague’s work.

Return to this discussion to read responses to the initial posting and continue on with the discussion by answering a question posed or adding substantive responses to colleagues by Saturday (Day 6). Once the week passes you will receive reduced credit for the postings, and you will still need to post. Be disciplined and respond on a timely and consistent basis. In subsequent weeks discussion boards will be based on assigned chapters. Please keep up with the readings so that you can participate in class discussions in a substantive manner.

Reading body language is a skill to develop. In addition to listening to the President and Vice President, the assignment includes studying body language and assessing observations of body language. The following are more details of the assignment:

What do they say, and how do they say it?

1. How does each of these individuals use their body language to emphasize the points they would like you to remember?

This assignment requires a careful read of the instructions in detail and follow them as described above. Remember, I am less interested in how you feel about each candidate. I am interested in who communicated their message and provided information that helps you assess how their respective policies will impact the business community. Discuss the assignments in assigned groups so that each group member is clear about the assignment requirements. The assignment is very straightforward. Please complete the assignment as scheduled (10/04/2020).
