There is 2 parts in this assignment part 1 and 2, I need you to write 2 papers in part one and one paper in part 2. ( Total of three papers).

1) Part One: Digital Journal ( 2 Papers for this part).

Please reflect on class content including in-class discussions, reading assignments and videos (All attached in files named “Digital Journal1” for Digital Journal paper #1 and “Digital Journal2” for Digital Journal paper # 2) . In your reflections, I would like you to consider not only your thoughts and emotional responses to course material, but also your physical responses to course materials. For example, when watching Tony Porter’s TED talk, what were the sensations in your body? How did those sensations inform how you felt about the video? Did you heart race? Did that let you know you were excited? ( Heterosexual, 23 years old Female )

You may include poetry, art, and visual media in your journal if you wish.

For written journals:

1) Part two : Past Present Future Essay ( 1 Paper for this part).

Instructions

Using class material and your own experiences and reflections, you will submit one 3-5-page essay on the past, present and future of masculinity. How has masculinity changed and stayed the same? What are your hopes for the future of masculinity; what does it look like?

Guidelines

Format: 3-5 pages, double spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman font, title & title page, page numbers

Organization: Your paper must include a formal introduction and conclusion. It must also include three main sections: past, present, and future understanding and vision of masculinity. In each section, you should include examples from media and your own life that highlight how masculinity was/is understood and how it was/is embodied. You can pull examples from pop culture, media such as tv shows, films, books, commercials, memes, social media, etc. Throughout your paper there should be a noticeable shift in the ways in which our understanding of masculinity has begun to shift and transform.

You should focus on examining not only the ways in which our understanding of masculinity has begun to change and transform, but also what has created the space for such change and transformation. It’s not enough to just give examples of past and present masculinity. You must discuss why these changes have begun to occur.

Lastly, what are you visions for the future of masculinity? How and why do you think masculinity will look differently? What will lead to creating the changes you wish to see?
